Introduction
Being the richest place for tin mining at Kinta Valley, Perak is said to have its name after the silvery of the tin hence the name Perak meaning silver in Malay. Immigrants came hovering in Ipoh where the tin is built in the capital of Perak. Perak was once known as ‘City of Millionaires’, where many Cantonese and Hakka started rooting here since the 19th century in hope of growing rich with tins. After all, Perak was the tin monopoly at the moment.
